Precision Mechanical Design provides a complete design through all development phases of a project:

  • Initial Design Concepts through final Design Concepts in 3D CAD (Solidworks)

  • Detailed Mechanical Design / Drawing Package

    • Detailed Mechanical Component Drawings for Fabrication

    • Wire Harness Drawings for fabrication when needed

    • Detailed Bill of Materials including every last screw, nut, bolt, retaining ring, etc. to define the design

    • Quotes from fabricators for custom components (machine shops, sheet metal shops, mold vendors, etc.)

Clients range from startups without a full-time engineering staff, to larger companies that are in a time crunch that would like to outsource projects to get them completed in a quick, efficient manner.

PMD's primary design tool is Solidworks "Premium" version.  James Cuevas, Owner and Principal Engineer, has been designing using SolidWorks on a daily basis since 1997 (over 25 years).  PMD is always able to use the latest version of SolidWorks (Currently version 2023), and keeps a few older versions running for customers requiring slightly older versions.
